General

The Uzbeks are an ethnic group found in the country of Uzbekistan. The Uzbeks speak a Turkic language, and therefore the language is a part of the Altaic Languages.

Ancient History:

The first people that migrated and settled in the plains now known as Uzbekistan were Indo-Iranic speaking tribes. They had been a part of the Achaemenid, Soghdians, Bactrians, and various people.

Note: Please note that I have just started getting interested in the history of Uzbekistan. I will update this as soon as possible.
